Description
The 5K Aaron Butler Memorial Purple Heart Run will be held on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 in Henderson, Nevada as part of the Special Forces Association International Convention. Like the Special Forces Regiment, this event is about community, brotherhood, and sacrifice. Feel free to wear traditional running attire, or load yourself down with a ruck sack, military/LEO uniform, or boots and body armor for an added degree of awesomeness. It's a lot more a lot more than a run. It's an emotional and educational experience. Embrace the suck!
Come enjoy the festivities! Park in our private parking lot on the East side of the M Resort and enjoy a service and sacrifice oriented 5K fun-run before being given a complimentary race shuttle ride to the M Resort and Spa's private pool area for a "picnic" with music and guest speakers who blow your mind!

More Than a Race
The Vegas ABMPHR is a celebration of the Special Forces Regiment's sacrifice. Far from a pity party, we let the emotions flow through challenging ourselves physically, then partying and telling lies with our brothers. The after party promises to be epic - beer, music, food - just like a 1st SFG JCET but without malaria. All race proceeds will go to the Aaron Butler Memorial Foundation (a 501C3 nonprofit). The run course will be lined with pictures and stories about Green Berets who gave their lives in the Global War on Terror (since 9/11/2001). Butler's name is on it, but the event honors ALL of our Fallen.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup will be in the race area (near The M Resort in Henderson, NV) from 9am-10am. Come snag a custom ABMPHR T-Shirt and so much more before you embark on a 5K to honor service and sacrifice!
