Event Description
The Las Vegas Sun Run is a fun, family-friendly 5K taking place on Sunday, May 10 at Sunset Park, bringing the community together to promote skin cancer awareness, education, and access to dermatologic care in Southern Nevada. Benefiting the Las Vegas Dermatology Foundation, this meaningful morning event features an 8:00 AM race start, free professional skin cancer screenings, Mother’s Day raffles, local vendors, sunscreen and skincare giveaways, an official race shirt, finisher medal, and awards. Whether you run, walk, or cheer, the Sun Run is a great way to support skin health while enjoying a vibrant community experience in the Las Vegas sunshine.
Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup will be held on Saturday, May 9th at Red Rock Running Company - Henderson from 12pm - 4pm. We encourage you to pick up your race bib and packet at packet pickup! If you are unable to pickup your packet on Saturday, you can pick it up on Sunday, but the race will start promptly at 8:00am. Please try to arrive by 7:00am to pick up your packet!
Course
Runners will start and finish at the same point. They will go out and do two big laps before returning to the start point to finish the 5k. You can find a link to the course by clicking the button below. We have also included a picture of the course below.
Parking on Race Day
