Year after year, survivors, advocates and care givers join together to walk and run for an end to ovarian cancer. The Teal Ribbon Run/Walk, coordinated by Caring Together, Inc., seeks to raise awareness of ovarian cancer and raise funds in support of research toward developing an early detection test as well as more effective treatment options for women with recurrent ovarian cancer.
The 2022 Run/Walk raised over $70,000 with proceeds going to support research and awareness activities. We were fortunate enough to be able to celebrate together in person, but we kept the virtual feature and it was so much fun! We were so happy to see team members all over the country joining in!
During the pandemic, we kept to our mission as much as we could -funded direct research grants, moved our support group virtual, participated in Students Teaching Students remotely and brainstorming for the time we could meet again. We even were able to give funds directly to research happening at Albany Medical College - something we will continue to do! This race funds all of those projects and more - thank you for joining us again this year!

Team Captains are encouraged to pick up for the entire teams. We regret that we WILL NOT be able to ship packets and t-shirts to those that cannot attend. Special arrangements can be made with LARGE groups and their captains.
SHIRTS: Racers registering by August 31st at 11:59pm are guaranteed a race shirt in their selected size. Remaining sizes will be on the registration until our inventory runs out. Day of pick up is available but not encouraged.
September 9 - Captains and individuals pick up shirts and bibs

9 am - 5k run start
9:10 am - 1 mile walk
9:50/10 am - Closing Ceremony/ Awards
We have over 50 incredible race baskets that will be set up inside the Park Playhouse! Every registered racer gets one ticket for the raffle which they can place in the basket of their choice.
Additional tickets are available from volunteers for $1 a ticket! Please come in and check to see if you've won after the race - must be present to win!
Survivors we would love to honor you! Stop by the Survivor's table near the large quilt to say hi to a survivor. If you are new to the race, pick up a survivor's hat and learn more about our support group! Please join us for our survivor picture!
