RuariSparkle Spooktacular Tutu Run, Walk, and Trot

Happy Fall Y'all! 

Six years and we have been busy! The donations from the 2025 race helped continue to support the RuariSparkle Comfort Fund for Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital which has helped over 1,000 families to date. We continue to support the RuariSparkle Slime Cart at Golisano Children's Hospital which provides a fun and sparkly activity for hospitalized children. This year we will also be sponsoring diagnosis books so families and kids can learn about what's going on with them. RuariSparkle blankets were once again donated to Golisano Children's Hospital and we even added The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) in on the fun. We sponsored a room at RMH and had so much fun shopping much needed food to stock their pantry for families.

The event is a country road race hosted at Yawger Brook Catering and Campground at 989 Chamberlain Road, Auburn NY. The Tutu Run (2.2 mile) is a timed race with overall and age group awards. The Tutu Walk (1 mile) is a non-timed walk/fun run; strollers, family and friends are welcome. The Tutu Trot is a dash in the grass for ages 7 and under. The Tutu Virtual Run/Walk/Skip/Trot (2.2 mile) is an untimed at your leisure run. Virtual is a great way to participate in the event near or far.

The days events will consist of race awards, trick or treating along the race course, raffles, face painting, entertainment, a food truck and family fun.

The mission of RuariSparkle is to help families in our community to provide comfort and sparkle to children facing childhood cancers. By Spreading Ruari’s Sparkle we seek to exemplify how to “be a good human and make good choices.” Proceeds from this event will be used at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital and RMH of Central NY. 

Tutus are encouraged but not required, costumes could be fun too!
