2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk: RUN Until their Voices are Heard.
October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month! Domestic Violence Awareness Month is a time for all of us to speak up about domestic violence, raise awareness, and support survivors of this devastating but common issue. This event was first observed in October 1981 as a national Day of Unity started by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV).
Join the YWCA of Genesee County on October 15, 2022 as we come together to raise awareness about domestic violence and have some fun while doing it!! Together we can advocate for survivors and their children to end the silence and work toward a world without violence. Let's make this 5K bigger and better than ever to show survivors that they are not alone and we stand behind them as a community!
Location: 301 North Street, Batavia NY
Please consider donating even if you are not planning to participate in the race.
