Fork In The Trail 5k Presented By Peace, Love, Trails

Put a Fork in it on June 28th!

Everyone starts together...but eventually you have to choose...left or right? We can't decide for you, but that's half the fun as Peace, Love, Trails presents the Fork In The Trail 5k!

The race starts and finishes at the Fox Lane High School campus in Bedford and takes you into the beautiful Westmoreland Sanctuary where everyone runs the same course, but you decide the direction!

Race starts at 9am, and is a rain or shine event!

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND! DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE SANCTUARY!!!

We love seeing and caring for our wildlife friends and we cannot do that effectively if we allow dogs on to the preserve.
Not because we don't like them, but for very real reasons.
Dogs scare away the very animals we work to protect. The dogs’ predator smell will linger for hours, days, and even weeks afterwards– driving away other animals, sometimes permanently.

PLT'S Most Popular Race of 2025 Is Back!

It's sounds like a crazy idea, and it is! You choose the direction you run your 5K! The race starts/finishes at the Fox Lane School Campus. You'll run 1K into the Westmoreland Sanctuary, and the fork is there waiting for you to decide!

Left or right? Do I follow everyone else, or the path less taken? The fun part is that you'll see the runners that took the other path as they run towards you!

If you ran with us last year, we expect you'll be back to try the direction you didn't take last year!

Medals, Medals, Medals!

All particiapnts will get a cool medal to memorialize your achievement!

We will have awards for the top 3 finishers in the Female/Male category, and smaller recognitions for the top 3 F/M in age groups as well.

You can add a Fork in the Trail cotton tee when you register (sizes small thru XXL) for only $20. June 5th is the cutoff date to add the shirt, and although we may have a few extras, we cannot guarantee that we will have your size, so go ahead and add it now!
