2020 Nun Run/Walk 5K Update
Dear Runners, Joggers, and Walkers,
On behalf of the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt, thank you once again for supporting the 2020 Nun Run/Walk 5K with your participation this year. We are truly grateful to you all for your continued commitment to the Sisters and their work, and also for your compassionate hearts that make it possible to provide dignified care for the aging Sisters in the community.
I am writing to you today to let you know we have come to the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Nun Run/Walk 5K amid the Covid-19 crisis. Due to other scheduled events and obligations throughout the summer and fall, and the uncertainty of when this crisis will end, it will not be possible for us to postpone the Nun Run/Walk 5K to another date during 2020. We will be issuing refunds and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Description
Join the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt, New York at our Sixth Annual Nun Run/Walk 5K on Saturday, May 9, 2020.
This Run/Walk will begin and end at St. Dominic Convent (496 Western Highway, Blauvelt, NY), with a course set through Blauvelt. The Run/Walk will take place rain or shine. Prizes will be given to the first three women, men, boys, and girls to finish the Run/Walk. All participants will have the opportunity to cross the finish line and onsite parking will be available.
All proceeds will benefit the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt, New York.
Can't make it to the 2020 Nun Run/Walk 5K and still want to support the Sisters of Saint Dominic? Consider signing up to be a Virtual Runner. We will send you a race participant shirt and bib.
