Juan Pablo Duarte Community Run

A community-based event organized by Dominican Runners, Inc., focused on promoting health, wellness, youth development, and family engagement.

This event is part of the Juegos Juan Pablo Duarte New York 2026, with the support of the Ministerio de Deportes de República Dominicana and in coordination with the Unión Deportiva Dominicana de NY.

The event will include:

A 5K Run and 3K Walk for adults.
Track and field events for youth and adults of different ages and skill levels.
Youth activities, including aerobic exercises led by a certified coach.
The event is free of charge, and participants will receive medals and event T-shirts.

In addition to promoting an active and healthy lifestyle in a safe, inclusive, and family-friendly environment, this event aims to identify young athletic talent and provide opportunities for youth to discover, develop, and grow in the sport of track and field.

Through community participation and youth engagement, Dominican Runners, Inc. seeks to inspire the next generation of athletes while strengthening the connection between sports, health, family, and community.
