Description
To best help you reach your goal, we offer different levels of training based on your current experience:
Beginner Half Marathon for the person who has never run a half marathon and has a lower weekly mileage of about 10-15 miles
Advanced Half Marathon for the person who has completed one or more half's and wants to improve speed and performance and has a slightly higher weekly mileage of about 12-16 miles
Beginner Full Marathon for the person who has never run a full marathon but has already completed a half marathon and has a current weekly mileage of 20-25 miles
Advanced Full Marathon for the person who has already completed a marathon but wants to improve speed at performance at the marathon distance and has current weekly mileage of 20-25 miles.
BOSTON 365 NOW for the person that is registered and accepted for Boston 2015
Key Training Dates: Training Starts on Thursday, January 15th at Fleet Feet Sports Buffalo.
This will be a Kickoff Tempo workout/orientation, at 6:00pm, at this run we will do a baseline workout to gauge what pace group you should be in. Afterwards, we will review initial info about the program including what to expect, gear, footwear, training habits and more.
Saturday. January 17th, 7:30am - First paced group long run
Workout Days/Times - There are 2 organized coached workouts each week.
6:00pm Thursdays at Fleet Feet Sports
7:30am Saturdays at varying locations in Buffalo.
HALF GOAL RACE: Rochester Regional Health System Flower City Half
FULL GOAL RACE: Cleveland Marathon -OR- Buffalo Marathon
All Participants Will Receive:

Online training tool workoutlog to record your training and to allow feedback from coaches
Unlimited email access to coaches and pace leaders

Online training support via a private Facebook group - this has proven to be helpful in maintaining your program
Weekly coached tempo/speed workouts (headlamps and reflective gear are required during dark conditions and all participants must carry water)
