Wood Library 5K, Fun Run & Story Walk

Wood Library's 5K, Fun Run and StoryWalk is "out of this world!"

8:30AM – 5K Run/Walk
9:30AM – Kids Fun Run
10:00AM – 2:00PM - Family StoryWalk

5K Run/Walk entry fees:
$25 through June 15
$30 June 16-July 13

1 Mile Kids Fun Run entry fee:
$10 per person (ages 12 and under)

Family StoryWalk: Free! (No registration required)

5K Training Program entry fee:  $25 by April 26, 2019 (this fee includes your 5K race entry).  The training program runs for 10 consecutive Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30PM, starting Wednesday, May 1, 2019.  Must be 16 years old and registered for 5K by April 26.  Spaces are limited to 40 participants.

Entry fees are not refundable or transferable.  

Entry fee includes:
5K: Cotton-blend race T-shirt (if registered by June 28), chip timing, entertainment, refreshments, age group awards, optional upgrade to tech T-shirt for additional $10
1 Mile Fun Run: Cotton-blend T-shirt, entertainment, refreshments, certificates

NEW for 2019!  GO GREEN!  No shirt option.  Support Wood Library's Sustainability Initiative.  A portion of your registration fee will support Wood Library's push to become a Green Certified Library.  Our goals include:  LED lighting, on-site composting, recycling, promoting lake-friendly practices, and partnering with other local organizations committed to reducing solid waste.

Cash prizes for top male and female 5K finishers.  Medals for age group winners.  Medals for top boy and girl Fun Run winners.

Packet pickup:  Wood Library, 134 N Main St, Canandaigua, NY: Friday, July 12, 4:00PM – 6:00PM and Saturday, July 13, 7:00AM – 8:15AM
