5K up to a 50K
When we say this is a casual event; we mean it.
Sign up and whatever distance you feel like completing on race day is what you do.
The lake loop is a perfect 5K. 1 loop, up to 10 loops, and anything in between is acceptable.
No cut off times. However, we reserve the right to stop anyone from starting out on another loop at dusk. Safety first!
RUCK
What is a Ruck?
A ruck is short for rucksack (military slang for a backpack.) It can also mean the action of rucking or going on a ruck march. For example, you might say: “I rucked 10 miles yesterday with a 20lb weight in my backpack.”
You can "ruck" with any amount of weight with a minimum amount of 20 pounds.
Rucking Tips – The basics:
1. Grab a backpack
2. Load it up with at least 20 lbs of weight; can be bricks, dumbbells, plates, anything to get the 20 lbs.
3. Move - the distance and the pace is totally up to you.
Only rule - you have to keep the weight on for your entire distance.
We will award one prize each to the first M/F finishers of the full 50K.
