Welcome to the beautiful lakeside community of Cassadaga, NY. Just off of I-90, one hour south of Buffalo, NY and 1 hour north of Erie, PA.
A NO FRILLS ultra-running event for those of you that just LOVE to run! And, it's 100% a fundraiser event. All proceeds will go to the Chautauqua County Fire Police.
The Lower Lake in Cassadaga hosts a perfectly distanced 5K loop and this event will have you run or walk one to ten loops, depending on what you feel that day.

NEW IN 2022 - 4 LEGGED RUNNERS CATEGORY
Yep, you read that correctly. We welcome you to bring your dog(s) to run around the lake with you. They must be registered participants and we will give a prize to the doggy that does the most laps. Please register them separately when registering yourself. Dogs must be on a leash the entire time they are at the race site and on the course. YOU MUST BRING BAGS TO CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR ANIMALS AND DISPOSE OF PROPERLY.
When we say NO FRILLS, we mean it! No medals, no t-shirts.(Unless some amazing sponsor wants to step in and provide…hint, hint)

FREE parking in several locations within a very short walk to the race site.
22 Mill Street - Please do not block the fire department doors. DO NOT park on anyone's lawn or the roadways.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Saturday, August 6th
7:50am - Pre-race meeting
7:00am SHARP - Race start
The 3.1 mile loop around the lake will begin at the Cassadaga Beach.
Left turn onto Dale Drive
Left turn onto Frisbee Road
Left turn onto Maple Avenue
Left turn onto Park Avenue
You are always running against traffic. There will be directional signs at the turns.
Stocked aid station with Hammer Nutrition products; Heed and Gels and water.
ALL participants begin at the same time at the gun start at 7am. No race bibs given.
You will check in at the table when you are finished to report how many loops you completed. Your finish time is taken as a gun time. All bathroom breaks, walking time, naps, beer stops, hot dog eating, etc will be included in your time.
DIVISIONS & AWARDS:
No awards. Just bragging rights. We will name and announce the Top 3 Finishers Male & Female that complete the full 50K.
Race is held Rain or Shine.
Only registered participants allowed on the course, please.
You can take as many breaks as you’d like. Your finish time will include them all.
There is NO refund for this event. However, with ADVANCE notice, you may defer to another Wilson Endurance Sports event or next years race. You must speak with Tonia Wilson directly via email at email@example.com or 716-353-1288.

If you have fun at this one you will most definitely want to put the Frozen 50K on your calendar for February. Same idea, same course. Only differences are that we start and finish at the Cassadaga Fire Hall so that we have a space to get warm and of course eat a ton of pancakes.
