Knights of Columbus #9602 5K Walk/Run: Race Update
It is with great sadness that I have to inform our signees that our 1st Annual 5K fundraiser will be cancelled. Our decision was not easy as our race team put up a great fight to keep it alive and a go. However local regulations and leaders have made it next to impossible to physically have it at a public venue. So with that in mind all signees will be transferred to our virtual option automatically. I will be personally emailing everyone who has signed up thus far, to securely obtain your shipping address so i can send everyone their packets. Once again i sincerely express my disappointment in having to do this. I was really looking forward to seeing everyone on race day, but i look forward to seeing how everyone did on the virtual race.
With that being said, I will be extending our virtual option to sign up (if you haven't already done so) until July 31st. You are encouraged to take photos of your race/course and your results and submit them via the Facebook or email to us and we will post them for you. The two best captions will receive a 25$ gift certificate to Fleet Feet!! In you have any questions please feel free to contact us via Facebook or email @ 9602knightsofcolumbus@gmail.com
Stay safe and keep runnin
Respectfully,
Joseph Stahl

Description
Here in the beautiful little CNY Village of Central Square, Knights of Columbus Council #9602 brings you their 1st Annual 5k Run/Walk. This event is perfect for any person of any age and background. You are in fact encouraged to bring your families and friends out as through the words of Pope John Paul II, "The Family is called to be the Temple, or house of prayer, full of effort and tenderness. A prayer that makes life so that life becomes prayer." The purpose of this race is to help the Knights of Columbus further grow and assist the local communities North of Oneida Lake by providing physical assistance in difficult times or through acts of charity. Come join as our new course runs a part of the historic Oswego County Trail. A quick and simple straight and back course yet simple enough to walk with every member of the family.
