Description
We are proud to announce our first Virtual Summer Puzzle Challenge, consisting of 4 different distances.
- 5k or 3.1 miles
- 10k or 6.2 miles
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- Full Marathon or 26.2 miles
Unlike the events on Marathon Weekend where the distances are completed all at once in Buffalo, this virtual challenge allows you to accumulate the distance and time on your schedule, at your pace and at a location of your choice. This allows everyone to participate and earn the medal.
Complete the distances starting on 6/1/2020 through 8/9/2020 for a total of 48.6 miles. For each distance completed you will earn one puzzle piece that when complete will create the coolest medal of the summer.

What You Get
You Will Make A Difference
Each year approximately 40 Not for Profits support Marathon Weekend by providing over 1,500 volunteers. In exchange for their support, we provide them with a donation. Since 2001 we have donated more then $675,000 to these groups..
We will continue this tradition of making a difference by donating to three of the groups that have supported us in the past. The groups will be selected by the participants. The three groups that garner the most votes will receive a donation at the completion of the Puzzle Challenge. The amount will be based on the number of registrants and money donated to the Challenge.
Cost To Participate
$60 plus shipping and handling if you want your medal & shirt mailed to you after 8/9/2020.
Note: Medals & shirts will be available for in store pick up at Runners Roost, Our Pacer sponsor after 8/9/2020.
100% of the proceeds will be used for event production, charitable donations and to offset production costs increases for the 2021 Marathon Weekend related to health and safety additions required in conjunction with the Novel Coronavirus.
