Welcome to the Southern Tier Running Club's New Year New You - January Streaking Challenge!

We are offering a unique running challenge for you to consider.

The first 200 participants receive event swag.

What is this streaking event?   
We challenge you to run or walk at least 1 mile per day for the entire month of January.   Your goal is to run/walk for 31 straight days and cover at least 31 miles. You can cover more distance if you'd like, but the minimum requirement is 1 mile per day.   Start the year off right by burning off those extra holiday calories and feel great doing it.  

When does the event start?   
The event starts on January 1, 2022.

When the does the event end?  
The event concludes on January 31, 2022.

What swag is included with my entry fee?    
Every participant will receive a custom cozy New Year New You winter themed pom-pom hat.  Hats will be mailed or delivered direct to your house.  The first 200 participants receive event swag.

Where do I log my daily mileage? 
Participants will log their mileage on RunSignUp.com. Just login into your account and enter your daily miles.  Mileage entry in on your honor, but we will be checking to make sure all entries look legitimate.  Please log the time it took to cover your mileage to help determine your entry is legit.

Can I compete for prizes?   
Yes!   We will award a custom sweatshirt to the male and female with the highest mileage totals (must have completed the 31 consecutive day streak).  One lucky participant who completes their 31 consecutive day streak will be selected at random to receive a custom sweatshirt too!

Do I have to run or walk every day?   
Technically, no; it is your challenge.  However, the intent is for participants to cover at least 1 mile per day during the entire month of January.
