Sunday long run? How about a Sunday REALLY long run?! Join us in our January tradition of running in Eisenhower Park with some congenial company! This is a no-frills race, so there is no shirt or giveaway - but it is a nice chip-timed and scored event - and a BOSTON QUALIFIER - so put on your snappiest shoes and find your stride!
There will be overall awards for the top male and female in each of the marathon and half marathon.
There are no age group awards, but there are medals for each finisher of the half and full marathons for both the live and virtual events.
Accurately measured and USA Track & Field Certified 5.274375 Kilometer Loop Course
Full Marathon = 8 Loops; Half Marathon = 4 Loops
Start and finish near the Eisenhower Park Fieldhouse
NOTE: There is a 6 hour time limit (course will officially close at 3:00pm)

VIRTUAL RACE:
Entry fee for virtual 13.1 or 26.2 race is $35, $30 for GLIRC Members. There are no awards for the virtual events. Registration will close at 11:59 pm on Sunday, January 30th. Results can be posted from 12:00 AM Sunday January 23rd through 11:59 pm on Sunday, January 30th.
Bib pickup will be available:
Saturday, January 22nd- 11AM - 4PM - Runners Edge - 242 Main St. Farmingdale, NY 11735 - fleece Icebreaker headbands will be available for sale for $10.00 cash if you wish to purchase one.
Sunday January 23rd at race day check-in
It would be helpful if you knew your bib number as bibs are arranged numerically.
You can pick up a bib for someone else at pre-race pickup. On race day you may only pick up your own bib.
Check in will take place from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM near the Field House between parking fields 1 & 2.
Parking is available in parking fields 1 and 2. Both parking fields are close to the start and finish area, and it is strongly suggested to leave your belongings in your vehicle, and to carry everything you need with you. We will not be responsible for personal belongings.
There will be an aid Station at the end of every 5.274375 Kilometer Loop which will have water, Gatorade, and snacks available. It is STRONGLY encouraged that you bring your own hydration and nutrition to supplement what will be available! Please make sure you deposit the garbage in receptacles that will be just past the aid station.
The bathrooms WILL be open for your use.
Participant instructions will be sent prior to race day with more information regarding race day procedures.
If you are registered for the live race but would like to transfer to the virtual race, this option is available through 11:59pm on Saturday, January 22nd.
