PACKET PICKUP: Thursday, July 27th from noon - 7:00 PM at MedVed - 3400 Monroe Ave, Rochester, NY 14618 -- OR -- Friday, July 28th (Race Day) - 3:00 - 6:45 PM @ East Rochester High School
This fast, flat, USTAF-Certified course takes you through the quaint neighborhoods in the Village of East Rochester; and is almost the half-way point of the Rochester Track Club’s 2017 Runner of the Year Series. Presented by the East Rochester Chamber of Commerce to benefit the Finger Lakes Regional Burn Association, the Karknocker 5K is a unique Friday Night race that kicks off at 7:00 PM and starts/finishes at East Rochester High School during the ERFD Firemen’s Carnival – fun for the whole family! $2,000 total cash prizes and medals for top runners in all age groups. Sanmar(R) Dry Zone Moisture Wicking Tees for those who register by June 30, 2017. Participants receive tickets good for food & beverage at the ERFD food tent on race day. All intersections staffed by law enforcement or volunteer road monitors. IMPORTANT PARKING INFO: With limited parking at the school, and road closures beginning at 6:30, you are encouraged to leave extra time and park at Techniplex and Edmund Lyon Park. ABOUT FINGER LAKES REGIONAL BURN ASSOCIATION: Finger Lakes Regional Burn Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to serving chiefly residents of the Finger Lakes region and occasionally beyond, regardless of social or economic status. They exist to insure that anyone impacted by a burn-related injury receives the necessary resources on their road to recovery while raising fire and burn prevention awareness.

ROAD CLOSURES: ERPD and volunteer road monitors will begin closing the course at 6:30 PM, and clear vehicle traffic from the course by 6:45 PM. Woodbine Avenue will be restricted to Local Traffic Only beginning at 6:00 PM and remain closed until the race is over.
RACE-DAY PARKING: On-site parking at the school, site of ERFD Carnival, is extremely limited. Ample parking at the Techniplex Conference Center parking lot, 300 Main Street, via the East Chestnut Street or East Commercial Street entrance. Distance is about ½ mile from registration, packet pickup and the start/finish line.
