The second three races in the series are hosted at Prizzolo Park in Elmira, NY (September 21, October 12, October 26.
Description
This is primarily a youth cross country series, leading up to the USATF Niagara Junior Olympic Association Championships on November 9, 2014. At each of the six meets, youth runners will have a chance to race against other youth their age, at the appropriate distance for USATF. While we encourage membership with USATF ($20 for youth), it is NOT required to participate in this series. Individual race winners will receive ribbons, with the series winners receiving medals. Series held at two locations
The series will be held at two different locations.
The First three races will all be held at Sprague Brook Park, in Glenwood, NY. 9674 Foote Rd, Glenwood, NY 14069 The three sunday dates are August 3rd, August 17th, and September 7th.
The last three races will be held at Pirozzolo Park, in Elmira, NY. 1255 W Water St
Elmira, NY 14905 The three Sunday dates are September 21, October 12, and October 26. We will have a brief course preview each week at 9am, with the first race taking off at 10am with the 8 and under 2km.
