Description
The Seventh Heaven Rescue Super-Dog 7k is a VIRTUAL event for you and your Super-Dog. You can stroll around your neighborhood, park beach, trails or town - whatever your heart desires. This event is for people and pets of all levels and does not have to be completed all at once. Take your time and enjoy the summer while taking your dog for a stroll.
We think in the heart of EVERY dog is a SUPER-DOG wanting to get out and go! With that in mind we want to encourage everyone to take their dogs out and bond over a walk. Participants can run, walk, skateboard, skip, wheel, or leap all 7k in a single bound! You can complete the 7 kilometers (4.35 miles) during the event from August 7, 2022 August 17, 2022.
The goal of the Super-Dog 7k is to raise $7000 (7k - get it?) to support the Super-Dogs who have been forgotten and left behind like our dog 'Seven'.
Seventh Heaven Rescue was founded in honor of our dog ‘Seven’ who was one of the millions of pets abandoned in shelters each year. Our mission is to keep dogs out of shelters as well as rescue dogs that have found themselves in shelters. Our goal is to provide them the Love, Compassion, Kindness, Dignity and Respect as well as the medical care they need and deserve.
Seventh Heaven Rescue is a 501(c)3 non profit and donations, race fees and merchandise sales go directly to helping fulfill our mission.
We are staffed 100% by volunteers and our organization, officers, and members do not profit from donations or take a salary.
Oh, and be sure to take those selfies and show off your SUPER-DOGS! Post them on our Facebook event page https://www.facebook.com/seventhheavenrescuesuperdog7k/ and your favorite social media platform using the hashtags:
