Introduction and Summary to the M.E.T

the M.E.T. - Race Format

The M.E.T. - What you get for signing up...other than a wicked good time!!!

Trail Sisters

The M.E.T. is a Trail Sisters Approved Race!

To get the TS Stamp of approval, I'm committing to the following:

1. Equal Podium Spots - There will be because there's only 1 female and 1 male winner!

2. Equal Prize Money and Awards - see above!

3. Women’s specific swag & apparel.

4. Menstrual products at aid stations.

5. Equal opportunity/space for women on the starting line. - Starting line will be split, half for females and half for males.

Terracycle

Terracycle is a company that collects all kinds of materials, chops them up, and repurposes them.  In short, they take our waste and recycles it.  Even the really difficult items, like performance nutrition packets.

In an effort to reduce waste at trail events, I'll be collecting your used performance nutrition packets and shipping them off to Terracycle!  So, rather than throw yours out, between now and the M.E.T. save them after your runs and bring them to me at Highland Forest on May 8!

Mother Nature and I both thank you for your efforts!
