Join us for a great community event! The 5th Annual FCS Key Club Bunny Hop 5K will start at the Falconer High School Athletic Complex on April 15, 2023. All proceeds will benefit the FCS Key Club, and support their on-going service work in the local community. This year's focus is to raise funds to support the revitalization of the Nature Place at Fenner Elementary and to enhance the nature exploration area at Temple Elementary.
Packet Pick Up will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Falconer Athletic Complex.
The Kids' 1K Fun Run will start at 8:15 a.m. and will take place entirely on the track. Parents and runners can cheer on the kids before the 5K.
1K Fun Run Registration cost is $5 and includes bib, snack and water, and the activities on the field. 1K racers will receive a bib number and a finisher's ribbon. First place male/female runners will receive awards. You can order a t-shirt on this website's store by April 1.
5K START TIME is 9 a.m.
5K Race is $25 per runner and includes a t-shirt (if registered by April 1), bib number, healthy snack, water and finisher's ribbon. Awards will be given by age category and to the top three overall finishers.
5K Price increases on April 2 to $30. Registration closes on April 13. Race day registration is $35. The race begins at 9 a.m. It is anticipated that everyone will be finished on the course by 10 a.m.
Family pricing for the 5K: $50 for the whole family (1 t-shirt included; if registration is received by April 1) to run the race together. Each runner needs their own waiver. Please complete family registration by paper by emailing the race director or downloading the family/team form. Extra t-shirts may also be ordered on the "Race Store" page by April 1 or with the registration form.
Team Pricing for the 5K: Teams of 10 or more people (established sports teams, clubs, organizations, community groups, etc) can participate for $5 per participant. Each person needs their own waiver. This pricing does not include t-shirts, but t-shirts can be purchased separately.
5K ROUTE: The route starts on the track and proceeds along roadways through the residential portion of the Village. There will be signs and volunteers along the route, but runners are responsible for being familiar with the route ahead of time. There will be a water station by Falconer Park (halfway point).
The route will be marked with white signs with red arrows. The roads will be open to traffic. It is the runner's responsibility to know the route and to always proceed with caution. There will be volunteers at busy intersections and key turning points. Water will be provided at the halfway mark (near Falconer Park baseball backstop).
