2024 Great American Weekend 5k/10k Goshen Rotary Run

RACE START:

8:00 AM Race Time, July 6th, 2024

Orange County Government Center - 255 Main Street Goshen NY

BIB PICK-UP:

Friday July 5th, 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Cataract Fire House, Green Street and Saturday July 6th, 6.30 to 8.00 AM at START at Orange County Government Center, 255 Main Street.

RACE DAY PARKING:

Orange County Government Center parking lot – enter from Scotchtown Ave.

DIVISIONS:

10 and under; 11-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+

T-SHIRT TO ALL RUNNERS REGISTERED BY JUNE 17TH, 2024.

MUST RUN TO RECEIVE T-SHIRT. SHIRTS NOT PICKED UP WILL BE RELEASED TO VOLUNTEERS  ON RACE DAY.

SORRY—NO SEPARATE WALKING RACE BUT WALKERS ARE WELCOME

WALKERS START WITH RUNNERS.

COURSE CLOSES AT 9:30 A.M..

ANYONE NOT FINISHED WILL NOT BE SCORED. 

WALKERS WILL BE SCORED AS A PARTICIPANT IN THE RUNNERS DIVISIONS.

NO REFUNDS ONCE REGISTERED.

COURSES:

Both races start at the same time and place at the Government Center, 255 Main Street.

5K: Left on Erie Street, left on Main Street, right on Orange Ave, right on Parkway, left at Old Chester Road, back on Old Chester Road, right on Park Place and finishes in front of the Surrogate Courthouse.

10K: Left on Erie Street, left on Main Street, right on Orange Ave, right on Parkway, Left on Arthur Place, left at McBride Place, left at Orange Ave, right on Main Street, right at Craigville Rd, right at Knoell Rd., right on Old Chester Rd., back onto South Church St., and finishes in front of the Surrogate Courthouse on Park Place.

Both the 5k and 10k are certified courses. Measurements were completed by Brian Cavanagh.

AWARDS:      

Awards will be presented at the Surrogate Courthouse on Park Place to the top 3 overall males and females in the 5k and 10k events. Additional awards will be presented three deep in the age divisions.
