Veterans Outreach Center is mobilizing forces for the annual Pound the Ground 5K Run/Walk!
Your Mission: Lace up your combat boots (or running shoes) and hit the ground running for our veterans! Every click of your boots on the pavement provides critical support to the brave servicemembers and their families served by Veterans Outreach Center of Rochester
PROTOCOL
MISSION COST:
- $25 Early Bird Enlistment: April 1st - June 30th
- $35 Standard Deployment: July 1st - August 22nd
- $20 Early Bird Active Duty & Veterans: April 1st - June 30th
- $25 Standard Active Duty & Veterans: July 1st - August 22nd
- $35 Remote Operations: Virtual 5K Registration
SUPPLY DROP:
- Participants who register by August 8th receive standard-issue cotton t-shirt (after this date, supplies distributed on first come/first serve basis)
- Mission bib & chip timing for accurate field intelligence
- Operation results transmitted online post-mission
- Tactical Swag Bag for all recruits
- Post-mission rations & hydration
VIRTUAL DEPLOYMENT PROTOCOL
- Secure your standard-issue t-shirt by registering before August 8th
- Execute your mission between 1830 hours on August 21st and 2359 hours on August 24th
