Push Yourself for the Piersons

Officer Daryl Pierson was a 32 year old husband and father of two young children. His life was taken while on duty protecting our community on Wednesday, September 3, 2014. Officer Pierson served his country in Kuwait and South Korea as a member of the United States Army before returning home, attending college, and continuing to serve his country, as well as his community, as a police officer with the Rochester Police Department. Officer Pierson was highly self disciplined, and always looked to better himself in any way he could. He is remembered as a dedicated, loving father and model police officer, with a special ability to locate stolen cars and remove illegal weapons from our streets. He had a general love of kids, and his positive attitude made him someone that everyone loved to be around.

What: 5K Fun Run/3K Walk & “50/50” raffle held afterwards
Where: Mendon Ponds Park, Mendon NY
Why: To raise money that will be contributed to a college tuition fund benefiting Officer Pierson’s children. 100% of the proceeds will be contributed to this fund.
When: Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.

Fun Run and Walk are not competitive, only for purpose of benefitting the Pierson family, so we welcome all skill levels to join us.

Entry fees are as follows:
Children (12 and younger): $15 ~ Adults (13 and older): $25

50/50 Raffle Ticket Rates: 1 for $5, 3 for $10, add $3 for each subsequent ticket purchased
