Event Description
Join Us for the Jamestown–Falconer Health Connection!
Come be part of a community movement focused on health, wellness, and active transportation awareness throughout the Jamestown and Falconer corridor. This is a free event that is open to the public!
Participants may choose from two approximately 1.75-mile walk/run routes:
📍 Falconer High School to Jamestown Community College
OR
📍 Jamestown High School to Jamestown Community College
Both routes will culminate at Jamestown Community College’s Student Union, where participants will enjoy:
✨ Refreshments
✨ Community speakers
✨ A mini health career fair
✨ Opportunities to connect with local organizations and wellness initiatives
Students are eligible to earn volunteer hours for participating in the event.
This event is designed to bring together students, schools, healthcare organizations, community leaders, and residents to promote safe access to physical activity, active transportation, and healthier connected communities.

Event Agenda:
3:00 PM / School Dismissal & Check-In
Students and community participants gather at their designated locations. All registered participants will be provided with a race bib/number for identification, and Chautauqua Striders staff will have registration information on-site.
3:45 PM
Students and registered community members depart from either Falconer or JHS and make their way toward Jamestown Community College. Police escorts and volunteers will be positioned along the route to assist and ensure safety.
4:15 – 4:30 PM
Arrival at the JCC Student Union.
4:30 – 6:00 PM
Refreshments, walk audit & feedback, and opportunities to visit tables hosted by participating organizations.
Guest speakers, wellness & career fair, and presentations
6:00 PM
Closing remarks and thank you from Chautauqua Health Network and Chautauqua Striders
Finish & Wellness Fair Location
Registration and the starting point for the Jamestown Route will be directly across the street from Jamestown High School in the grass area.
Registration and the starting point for the Falconer Route will be on East Main St just off the walking path near the track at Falconer High School.
