RACE TIPS:
Here are some helpful tips to prepare your little runners the night before a fun run:
1. Eat a Balanced Dinner: Make sure they have a light, nutritious meal that includes carbohydrates (like pasta or rice), protein (like chicken or beans), and vegetables. This will give them the energy needed for the race.
2. Hydrate: Encourage them to drink water throughout the day and have a glass of water with dinner. Proper hydration is key to avoiding fatigue during the race.
3. Lay Out Clothes and Gear: Have them choose and lay out their race-day clothes the night before. Make sure their running shoes fit well and are comfortable.
4. Get a Good Night’s Sleep: Ensure they go to bed early enough to get a full night’s rest. Sleep is essential for energy and focus during the race.
5. Talk About the Race: Calm any nerves by discussing the event with them. Let them know it’s all about fun, and remind them that they’re participating with friends or family. Keep the mood light and exciting!
6. Set a Wake-Up Time: Make sure they wake up early enough so there’s no rush in the morning. Having time to eat breakfast, get ready, and travel to the event will keep things stress-free.
By following these tips, they'll be well-prepared and ready to enjoy the fun run!
We look forward to seeing you there and making this an unforgettable experience for all our young runners! If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out.
See you soon!
