2024 Lake Placid Training Camp
Experience the Ironman Lake Placid course during our 2-day or 4-day Lake Placid triathlon training camp to be held June 6-9, 2024.
Lake Placid offers some of the most iconic and challenging training for triathletes. Our training camp is excellent for:
- Race specific training for Ironman Lake Placid
- Preparation for hilly 70.3 or 140.6 triathlon courses in mid to late summer or early fall.
- Improving your overall knowledge and ability in triathlon - we work closely with each athlete throughout the weekend. You don't need to have a race on the horizon to benefit from this camp!
- Building community and camaraderie
All abilities are welcome!
Our camp will help you achieve your big dreams, with supported workouts, educational clinics, and small group-based instruction. We promise an experience as epic as your surroundings!

Why is Our Training Camp Different?
You won't be a number in a big group. We cap our triathlon training camp entries at just 25 athletes, so you are coached throughout the weekend.
Our staff includes USAT-certified coaches, so you'll receive personal attention, on-course support, instruction, and a supportive group community. Our coaches and staff have a combined 20 times racing the LP course, and over a decade of experience training on the course!
The 4-day clinic features hands-on practical clinics (such as open water technique, bike handling, and run form). Both 2-day and 4-day campers will enjoy educational presentations, team meals, and open daily Q&A sessions (you control the topic!). Our 4-day campers will take part in hands-on skills-based clinics, as well as sessions that explain the "how" and "why" of training. Our 2-day camp is a perfect fit to learn and sample the Lake Placid course, while learning from the coaches during our afternoon educational sessions.
Our camp is the right balance of work hard, play hard that will make this feel as much like an adult summer camp vacation as it is training to destroy your big dreams!
