THIS IS A VIRTUAL EVENT -- You choose WHEN, WHERE and DISTANCE!!
Join us this December for the Capital Region NY Chapter's first annual "December Dash for Suicide Prevention" Run/Walk!
Run/walk once this month or run every single day to help us raise awareness and funds in support of AFSP's mission of saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. The run can take place wherever you'd like - on a trail, in your neighborhood, in Northeastern NY or anywhere else in the country - that's the best part about this virtual race! You choose the distance, you choose the frequency... just GO! You have until 12/31/20!
All funds raised through both registration and any additional donations will go to AFSP, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention - Capital Region NY Chapter, which covers 15 chapters throughout Northeastern NY. We fund research to improve interventions, train clinicians in suicide prevention, and advocate for policy that will save lives as well as provide local education and outreach.
Your Initial $30 Fee includes a Customized Digital Bib, and there will be some fundraising incentive prizes as well!
- Fundraise $25+ -- Get a "TOGETHER to FIGHT Suicide" Magnet or a "HOPE" Mask (depending on availability)
- Fundraise $50+ -- Get your pick of "HOPE" shirt!
- Fundraise $100+ -- Get BOTH plus be put in a drawing for other great prizes!
