Description
The 24th Annual World Run Day will be celebrated in Long Beach, where it all began, on Sunday November 6th. Our virtual run has a choice of 5K, 10K, 13.1M, or 26.2M distances. Run your own virtual course through Long Beach now thru November 6th and upload your results to be displayed with other participants! Every participants is mailed the World Run Day Event T-Shirt and Medal. Participants can also download a link to the #1 World Run Day Digital Bib created specifically for Long Beach Runners.
For those donating to a Long Beach charity, we collect the name of your charity during registration. In addition, World Run Day will be donating this event's net proceeds directly to the Long Beach Soup Kitchen. Lastly, if you are running in tribute to, or dedicating your run to someone special, we will collect that name as well ♥.

About The Long Beach Soup Kitchen:
The Long Beach Soup Kitchen serves hot meals Monday through Saturday, starting at 11:15 am to 12:45pm. Pantry open Monday and Thursday 11:15am to 12:45pm. Guests are served a nutritious, home-cooked meal, which includes soup, salad, fruit cup, hot entree, vegetables, dessert, bread and beverages. Take-home bags are also provided, which include a sandwich, fruit and a sweet.
They are a 100% volunteer, not-for-profit 501c3 organization based in Long Beach, NY.
