Run or Walk Through the Village of Mayfield

5K Route Description

The race starts at the Elementary School Track, heading towards the school entrance, turning left onto N Main St. Runners continue on W Main Street, left onto Chestnut at the 1-mile mark. Runners make quick turns onto Second Ave, Center Street, and Woodside Ave. Continuing, they pass through Maple Ave, Second Ave, Prospect, and Rural Street, then right back to W Main, retracing steps to the school. Returning to the Elementary School entrance on N Main, they follow the driveway back to the track. Finally, they run counter-clockwise on the track to the finish line near the pavilion.

About the Scholarship Fund
This event and the scholarship it supports honors the life of a truly exceptional individual. As a member of the Mayfield Class of 2009, Joshua was an exceptional student who excelled in many subjects and radiated positivity, even when faced with immense challenges. He was an active member of the Cross-Country Running, Nordic Skiing, and Track and Field teams. The impact he had on those around him continues to inspire others to this day.
