Mendon Turkey Trot

Friday 11/23/18 announcement:

Thank you for the great turnout for the Mendon Turkey Trot.  We are working on reviewing our records and will be announcing the donation amount to Gates to Recovery by Monday 11/26/18.  Thank you for your patience as we celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday with our families.

Thursday 11/22/18 announcement:

Races are at capacity...thank you!  Packet Pickup today starts at 7:30 am

Happy Thanksgiving...the Turkey Trot is on!  It's cold outside but our hearts are warm because we are supporting a great cause.  

Race day packet pickup up will start at 7:30 am today.  5K runners will receive bib number for the race entry.  .  2.2 Mile runners/walkers and Kids Obstacle course participants will receive a wristband for race entry.  If you purchased a T shirt those will also be ready for you.

Park at rear of building and enter through back door (surrounded by a picket fence).  Proceed to Registration following signs.

 Please bring cash or check day of race.  Bring ID if paying by check. Payable to:  StudioMOVE

We have a limited number of T-shirts will be for sale on Race Day for cash or check payable to:  StudioMOVE.  Youth sizes are $12 each and adult sizes are $20.  

Expect to be running through snow and icy conditions as you cross the ballfield and onto Lehigh Valley Trail.  The remainder of the 5K will be on the shoulder of the road facing traffic.  Dogs are allowed but must be on leash at all times. 

Registration Pricing:

5K Trail Run: $20.00 (closed) 

2.2 Mile Walk/Run: $15.00 (closed)

Kids 1 Mile Obstacle Course: $8.00 (closed)

Price Increased on November 8. 

Proceeds beneficiary: Gates to Recovery (You may drop off a check written directly to this charity)

We are also accepting donations of non perishable goods, grocery store gift cards, or cash for:  FISH Food Pantry of Honeoye Falls  Look for our table for donations either at rear of building or just inside.

We will have coffee, hot chocolate, cider and water available.  Step inside to find refreshments.  Due to the number of participants we have limited space for waiting for your run.  Porta Potties are available outside near the parking lot. 

Additional Parking at Mendon Baseball Field off Rt 251 in Mendon.  This is where the 2.2. mile race/walk will start.  5K race starts at back of St Catherines Parking Lot near the bridge crossing to Ball Field.

The 5K Trail Run will be chip timed by Overland Timing

Top 1 in each of the age categories (Male and Female)
