ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

GIVE A FIT about your health and supporting the American Cancer Society!

 

Choose to walk or run one distance (5K, 10K or Half Marathon), or join us for the Triple Challenge and accomplish all three distances in 12 weeks. You can register to complete (accomplish the distance) or compete (improve your time). You'll also receive expert guidance from our Coach, Ramon Bermo, and join a supportive community of individuals dedicated to getting more active and leading the fight for a world without cancer.

This event is open to ALL. Whether you are looking to get more active (walking or running), you're new to running or you're an experienced runner looking to improve your time, this event is for YOU.

Are you interested in completing your first 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), Half Marathon (13.1 miles) or possibly even all three distances within 12 weeks?

Are you an experienced runner looking to get faster, improve your form and maybe even PR?

 

No matter what your personal goal is, we're here to help you accomplish it! We'll provide you with the support and training you need to achieve your goals. We GIVE A FIT about YOU! 

 

TRAINING

Our coach will email a comprehensive training calendar and weekly workouts that match your fitness level.

HOW IT WORKS

  • You must opt in at registration to receive training.

  • Each month will focus on the 5K, 10K, OR Half Marathon building up to the next distance.

  • Training will focus on a four-week build up to each distance.

  • We encourage you to accomplish/log each distance every four weeks, aka the first weekend of each month. However, you can choose to complete/compete as your fitness level and experience allows.

  • Each distance must be logged before the end of the challenge.

We'll also provide training clinics focusing on: technique, form, improving time, nutrition, etc., as well as fun classes! Please note, there is a fundraising commitment to receive our training.
