Come out and run in the 44th Annual NYPD vs FDNY 4 Mile Run brought to you by the NYPD, and FDNY, Running Clubs. This year the event has been capped at 300 participants and is open to only Active or Retired members of either FDNY or NYPD . It is also now a 4 Mile run. Waves will be 50 people starting at 8am going every 45 minutes. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CHOOSE YOUR START WAVE. YOU MUST GO OFF IN THE WAVE ASSIGNED TO YOU. Waves will be assigned by the estimated finish time, fastest going first, split evenly with NYPD and FDNY. The overall winners of the race will be determined from the first wave. You will receive an email with your wave assignment the week before the race along with all instructions.
Due to NYS Covid-19 regulations each participant will be required to wear a face mask at all times (not required during run), and adhere to social distancing standards. In addition, there will be no day-of awards ceremony and participants are expected to depart the area once completing their run.
There is a total participant cap of 150 NYPD and 150 FDNY. There will be no TShirts this year, instead, each finisher will receive an event logo cinch bag
You must be a uniformed agency employee or retired to participate this year. Due to the restrictions, there will be no family or civilians allowed.
This race starts and finishes in Central Park on the 102nd Street Transverse.
Online registration for this event will close on Wednesday, Feb 24 , 2021 at 2359 hours and then bibs will be mailed to you via USPS.
