Get ready to Try, Tri & Du!
Join our training series hosted by NYTri4All.
This is your year to reach your goal of completing your first duathlon or triathlon! Our beginners’ training plan for the March 2021 duathlon is $35 for the the complete 10 week training package. There is a mix of in-person sessions and on your own training guidance. If you can’t join an in-person session, you can follow the plan on your own. We will incorporate a few of zoom sessions to cover ‘basic’ theory and tips such as transition, nutrition, the race itself, etc.
For seasoned pros, train to reach your personal PR! All are welcome to come and train with our training partners NYTri4All. The first session for 2021 runs from January 18th – March 28th and culminates with the March Classic Duathlon. Set your goal and register early for the March Classic Duathlon.
Training – We are offering regular weekly group sessions in Central Park. See the in-person training schedule dates below. A detailed training guide will be emailed once you’ve registered. Intensity can be amended according to your needs and the time of the season. We train rain or shine. Any adjustments to the schedule will be communicated to the group through email.

NYTri4All is a New York City based not-for-profit Triathlon Club for all levels. The founders’ dream was to create a Club to share the love for the sport with the community. NYTri4All’s mission is to foster the sport of triathlon by providing a platform for supporting members’ goals at all levels and age groups, and affordable for all.
Meet the Trainers
Teresa Lenzi
Teresa Lenzi, co-founder of NYTri4All, certified USAT level 1 Tri coach and swimming instructor, 2021 70.3 World Championship qualifier, 2020 ITU Worlds qualifier, 2020 Boston qualifier, Ironman All Word Athlete, USA Triathlon All American Athlete. She grew up as a competitive swimmer and has been competing in triathlons since 2012 ranging from Sprint to Ironman distance. She is a multi-time overall female champion at local (NYC) races and has had top positions in various triathlon races.
Andreas Schmidt
Andreas Schmidt, co-founder of NYTri4All, certified USAT level 1 Tri coach, 2021 70.3 World Championship qualifier, 2020 Boston qualifier, 2020 ITU Worlds qualifier, Ironman All Word Athlete Gold, and USA Triathlon All American Athlete.
His first contact with triathlon was in 1992 with participation in his first Olympic race. After 2 years competing, he had to take a break from the sport due to his job. 20 years later and 20 Kg heavier, he got back into triathlon, lost weight and started competing again. He has multiple overall wins and many top positions in various triathlon events from Sprint to Ironman distance.
