Description
Keep It Moving will provide financial support for children and young adults to participate in activities that support health and build inner strength. We believe that supporting engagement in physical activities such as, but not limited to, snowboarding, skate boarding, hiking, and biking enhances the resilience needed to avoid common pitfalls of our modern culture such as drugs, gangs and crime.
What is a virtual race and challenge and how does it work?
A virtual run/walk/ride event is similar to a traditional event except the participant completes it entirely on their own schedule. There is not a required location nor a mandatory time of day in which to complete the event. We hope to challenge participants to get outside to stay active and healthy.
The challenge is 25 miles long. You can run, walk, or ride. Once you complete your registration, the next step is to conquer the distance.you have 25 days to complete the challenge. You can do a mile a day of do all 25 mils at once. Its up to you. The important thing is to complete the distance, stay safe, and have fun! Once finished, simply go online and submit your time to be included in the race results page. If you choose one of the "Challenge" events, you will be able to chart your progress in your own personal challenge results page.
If you selected to do the 5k, you can download the racejoy app to track your 5k on your phone.
