Red, White & Brew 5K
Our Red, White & Brew Run is back in partnership with Newburgh Brewing Co. and ASICS! There's no better way to kick off the July 4th holiday. Run a 5K and score one FREE beer (21+ only). While you do not need to be 21+ to register for this race, anyone under 21 will not receive the bracelet used to get a free beer after the race.

Red, White & Brew Course

The 5K will start and end at People's Waterfront Park and will be an out-and-back course, with participants mainly running on sidewalks along the waterfront. A small portion of the course will take place on a quiet road that will be open to traffic.

The race will start and finish at The People's Park, located at 1 Washington Street in Newburgh, NY. Following the run, you're invited to head up the street to Newburgh Brewing Co., located at 88 South Colden Street, for food and drinks!

To help us comply with our park use permit, all participants must complete the 5K before 12:00 noon.
No. This course, unfortunately, does not enable us to accommodate strollers or leashed dogs.
Yes! There will be one water station near the midway point of the 5K course.
The event will happen rain or shine, and we would only delay the start time (or cancel) if there were dangerous conditions such as thunder and lightning.
No. Since this is a timed race, bibs cannot be transferred. If you're unable to participate for whatever reason, your SWAG will still be available for pickup at Fleet Feet Poughkeepsie at your convenience through 7/10/26. Since we order race supplies as registrations come in, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds or credits toward a future event.
No. We don't have a waitlist for this event, and it generally sells out. If you are considering registering, don't wait and miss out!
The tanks run true to size. To keep our costs low, we order the exact number of tanks we need and cannot accommodate size switches once the order is placed.
