Tailgate 5k Run/Walk

Join us for the 2nd Annual Tailgate 5k Run/Walk on Sunday, October 15th!  All proceeds benefit the 6th Ward Athletic Association Foundation, which directly supports youth athletics and organizations in the Oneonta community.  All of which promote good sportsmanship, building good character and the making of responsible local citizens.

The 5k begins and ends at the 6th Ward Athletic Club, starting at 11:00am.  There will be a Kids Fun Run “100 Yard Dash” held prior to the 5k at 10:30am!  Wear you favorite football team's gear to show your support while racing!  Stick around afterwards for food, raffles and football viewing at our post-race tailgate party.  The top female and male finishers in each age group will receive prizes at the awards ceremony, held at 12:30pm during the party.

Pre-registration fee: $25.00 (includes long-sleeved shirt and post-race tailgate party)

*Non-racers interested in the post-race tailgate party only, can purchase tickets for $10.00 at the door.*

Packet pick-up available on race day, beginning at 9:30am at the 6th Ward Athletic Club.  Parking available in the parking lot on West Broadway, or at the Boys and Girls Club on River Street.
