Ossining PBA Foot Pursuit 5K

Saturday, October 20, 2018, is the 2nd Annual Ossining P.B.A. Foot Pursuit 5K, a trail and road race beginning in Cedar Lane Park before continuing on to local roads.  Once on the road, runners will enjoy scenic views of the majestic Hudson River.  Walkers are welcome to participate as well.

Last year, the inaugural race raised more than $1,500.00 for the Hope for Heroes Foundation.  This year the P.B.A. has built on that foundation and added fun elements to the race.  This includes a warm up by Club Fit personal trainers and a "Beat the Chief" portion of the race, where runners race against the Chief of Police for additional prizes. In addition, this year the proceeds of the race will fund tuition scholarships for children attending Ossining Recreation Day Camps.  The beneficiaries of our scholarships will be local children who ordinarily would not have the opportunity to attend camp due to financial hardship.
