Mountains for Minds is an entirely virtual event that encourages participation from everywhere. Join us no matter where you live and invite all your friends and loved ones!
Description
In this national fundraiser, participants will "choose their mountain" to climb when registering for the challenge. This could be climbing a literal mountain, hill, or local high point, setting an elevation gain goal, or a distance goal. Choose the event type that suits you best. We encourage participants to post pictures of themselves "at their peak" to celebrate the accomplishment and to raise awareness for brain health.
At Sharp Again, we envision a world where dementia can be prevented, treated, and reversed and where everyone can remain cognitively healthy throughout their lives. Please help us raise funds to make that dream possible.
Wrap-Up Celebration
We invite you to join us to celebrate everyone's accomplishments at the wrap-up celebration for the Mountains for Minds event in September (date to come.) We will highlight all the incredible adventures everyone had along the way and the giant step we will have made toward Sharp Again's Mission. More information will be sent to all registrants in September!

Fundraising
After registration, each participant will be prompted to create an individual fundraiser. The starting goal for each fundraiser is $100, and anyone that hits this goal will receive the Mountains for Minds T-Shirt.
- Basecamp: $100 fundraising level - Mountains for Minds T-shirt reward. (Your size and shipping address are collected at registration)
- Ascent: $300 fundraising level - Mountains for Minds Baseball Cap reward
- Peak: $1000 fundraising level - Special recognition at the wrap-up celebration

Why is my registration not working, or why is it saying that I am already registered?
You may have registered for a race before with the RunSignUp platform we use for this event. If you have, you will use your existing RunSignUp account to register for Mountains for Minds.
Do I have to create a fundraiser?
While creating a fundraiser for your challenge is encouraged, you do not have to create one to participate in Mountains for Minds. One of the core reasons for the event is that getting active is part of living a brain-healthy lifestyle, so thank you for participating!
If I donate instead of fundraising, does it still count toward a t-shirt or hat?
Yes! Anyone that fundraises or donates $100 or more will receive an event t-shirt! Thank you for supporting Sharp Again's mission.
