Our Most Bone-Chilling Race!

Time: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Sharp, Rain or Shine)  
Packet Pick-Up: 7:00 AM  

Join us at Lakeside Park on January 19th for a thrilling winter run! Our most bone-chilling race will challenge you to complete as many loops as possible on the (newly paved!!!!) 0.54-mile course. For each loop you complete, you will earn a skull bead that can be turned into a necklace, bracelet, or keychain. Every participant will also receive a limited edition EDRRC fleece blanket to keep warm after those chilly winter runs!

Event Details:

To participate, all you need is warm clothing, a good pair of sneakers, and some of your favorite friends! After finishing your run (or walk!), you will receive a skull bead for every half mile (each loop completed). If you wish to compete for the overall male, female, or non-binary awards, please let us know before you start, and ensure that you have no miles logged on your app or watch beforehand. We've got Christopher Regan in the timing booth to catch every chilly loop you do!

Awards and Swag:

The first 150 participants to sign up will receive a cozy fleece blanket!

Awards will be given to the male, female, and non-binary participants who complete the most laps in 4 hours! Join us and see how many laps you can do!

Chili Festival:
After or while you're looping the looper, come warm up at our chili festival! We encourage you to bring a crockpot of chili to share with others - whether you're doing the race or not! We will have all supplies on hand (electrical source to keep the chili warm, bowls, and small spoons). All you need to bring is your pot of chili, a serving spoon, and a small description of your chili - we'd love if you described your dish and designated any dietary considerations (e.g., gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, etc.). 
EVERYONE who brings a pot of chili will receive a LIMITED EDITION Chili Festival token made by Christopher Regan!
