Description

Boom!  Bam!  Wam! Join us as we celebrate and support our local heroes!

On Sunday, May 31, 2020, join Adirondack Coast Events and The Foundation of CVPH for a virtual running event – the Adirondack Coast Super Heroes 5K! All proceeds of this race will benefit The Foundation of CVPH and their work to support our health care professionals and front line workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

To participate, sign up!  Then, on May 31, run a 5K to support the CVPH Foundation and our front line workers.

So, how does a virtual race work? First, yes its a virtual race but it is also a real race, even though we aren't all gathering at the same place at the same time.   On May 31, you wake up.... eat breakfast... check Facebook.... vacuum the living room... check facebook.... straighten that crooked picture in the hallway....  check facebook.... with no particular place to be.... at no particular time....   When you're ready, pick a route and run a bad-ass 5k--be sure to activate your favorite GPS tracking watch or smart phone mapping app so that you know you ran a 5k.  We'll send you a few reminder emails and text messages on race morning with instructions on how to submit your results (make sure you are opting in for email or text message updates when you register).  Once you've completed your race, submit your results as instructed (its easy!), and Voila!  You're done!

Registration ends May 31, 2020 at 10:00pm EDT.   Registration is $20 per person. The first 250 registered will get a pair of super hero socks mailed to you after the race.

Any questions?  Check in with Foundation Events and Special Project Manager Michelle Senecal at (518) 314-3359.
