Heart Well Homestead 5k

Lace up your running shoes and grab your superhero costumes, it's time for Heart Well Homestead's Superhero Strides 5K! 

Heart Well Homestead is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that will offer a transitional residential program that empowers homeless pregnant and parenting mothers by supporting their physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs so they can thrive.  Our vision is to see healthy mothers and their children prepared to move into a stable environment with the support of their family, friends and community. Superhero Strides 5K Run/Walk specifically raises funds for our upcoming maternity home and programming, which will serve homeless women and their children from Clinton, Essex, and Franklin Counties.  Heart Well Homestead anticipates opening in the Fall of 2025. 

Grab your superhero costume and join us September 7 behind the Y on the Oval in Plattsburgh, NY as we race down the Terry Gordon Bike Path along the beautiful Lake Champlain.  Registration begins at 9 am and the race begins at 10 am.  There will be activities for the whole family to enjoy and all skill levels are encouraged to participate! There will be prizes for race winners, as well as best costumes!
