5K Invasion Run & Defense of Bridge Street Sponsored by Adirondack Coast Visitors Bureau & Sam’s Club Starts at Veterans Bridge on Bridge Street Participate in the 5K Invasion Run and become part of a reenactment! On September 6, 1814, British push American Forces from Halsey's Corners into the village and force them over the bridge. The Americans defend the south shore. Aiken's Volunteers become notable "heroes" of the day. You can register to be part of the British OR American forces and we’ll give you an official race tee to wear to represent your ‘troops’!
