The City of Port Jervis Recreation Department proudly presents:
The 30th Annual Delaware River 5k Run and Walk
We are happy to announce the 2024 race! There are some important things to know about the race, in order that all athletes, family, friends, and event staff can experience a fun event.

DUE TO SAFETY CONCERN FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS WALKERS WILL START IMMEDIATELY AFTER RUNNERS

RUNNERS WILL START AT 0900

Awards will be after the race. You'll pickup your award near the pavilion by showing your finisher's receipt/time/and age group placement.

Also, after the race hang out with us and enjoy the entertainment, food trucks and drinks. We are working on a few special surprises!

REGISTRATION AND THE FINISH LINE IS HELD AT RIVERSIDE PARK- 81 KING STREET- STARTING LINE IS APPROXIMATELY A 1/4 MILE FROM RIVERSIDE PARK (DOWN JERSEY AVE.)

AFTER YOU REGISTER YOU MUST WALK/RUN TO STARTING LINE WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY 1/4 MILE FROM RIVERSIDE PARK.

PLEASE ARRIVE AT RIVERSIDE PARK AND REGISTER BEFORE 8:30 AM TO PICK UP RACE BIB AND T-SHIRT. RACE WILL START AT 9:00 AM!
- PLEASE NOTE REGISTRATION COSTS FOR 2024 ARE- $30 ADULTS, $35 AFTER APRIL 30 AND $22 KIDS 13 AND UNDER $26 AFTER APRIL 30
Important Information
Registration Fees:
- February 8- April 30: Adults - $30 / Youth - $22
- After April 30: Adults - $35 / Youth - $26
Event Schedule:
- May 5, 7:15 AM- 8:30 AM EDT - Registration & Packet Pick Up
- May 5, 9:00 AM EDT - Runners Start- followed immediately by walkers.
T-Shirts:
- Race T-shirts for the first 200 registered Runners/Walkers
- T-Shirts are not guaranteed IF YOU REGISTER ON RACE DAY MAY 5
Award Categories
Results will be posted next to the stage. Awards will be available once results are in. If you won an award (trophy or medal) you can pick it up at the award table next to the stage.
Runners:
- Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall finishers in the male and female divisions.
- Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd in both male and female divisions in the following age groups:
- Up to age 9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older
Walkers:
- Walkers will be awarded 1st, 2nd, 3rd in male and female divisions. WALKERS MUST WALK THE ENTIRE RACE!
Physically Challenged:
- Medals will be awarded to overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd in male & female divisions.
