Description

New for this year's Runnin' of the Green, we will be offering training groups for both the 1 Mile and 5 Mile races!

The 1 Mile training program will be a part of On Your Feet Rochester, our 4 weeks to run 1 mile program that we started in Summer 2018! The program is designed for people who are starting from scratch and wish to run 1 mile. The program is a mixture of run/walk intervals building up each week, as well as running form drills, strength and core work, and coaching from program mentors to help you achieve your goal! On Your Feet meets at Rochester Running Co every Thursday for its session length, but will have prescribed workouts for you to do at home!

The 5 Mile training program is designed for runners who are looking to run their fastest 5 miles. This program is made up of easy running on your own, two coached workouts and one paced long run at Rochester Running Company. 

Both training programs include registration for the Runnin' of the Green 5 Mile + 1 Mile Race on Saturday, March 16 at 9:30 AM. More information for the race can be found at www.runninofthegreen.com
