This FUNdraiser event is held each year to raise funds for this non-profit group that makes small wooden toys that are given to children in need around the world. Distributed through mission groups, emergency services and crisis centers; these toys have been bringing smiles to kids since 2007. Donations are always appreciated and volunteers sought to assist in this simple, thoughful and loving way to bring joy when it is most needed.
This years event will start and finish at Weeden Park with an out and back course down Weeden Road.
FUNdraiser rates are as follows:
$10 for Kids age 17 & Under
$20 Adult Pre-Registration
$30 Adult Race Day
Event followed by a great meal with new and old friends. All beverages, hot dogs, plates, etc are provided. Bring a dish to pass to add the fun if you feel like it, but not required to join in the fun. All participants and spectators are welcome to join in.
Can’t make the event – please consider making a donation on our registration page or sending your contribution to Dick Hall – Chief Toymaker, 418 Grubb Hill Road, Kennedy, NY 14747. Other donations of wood, paint and paint brushes, wheels, sandpaper, etc as well as your time are always appreciated.
