GRRC Utica Boilermaker Bus Trip

The GRRC Boilermaker Bus has been discontinued. The last year was for 2025. 

Declining ridership, increased costs, and difficulty in securing reservations with reliable, high-quality bus companies forced the board to re-evaluate how well the service lined up with our mission as a non-profit entity to "promote running as part of a healthy lifestyle in the greater Rochester area." We weighed all the factors and determined it was not fiducially responsible to continue a bus serving very few people for a one-day event outside our service area at a substantial economic loss.

Back again because we love doing it! This is a bus trip, from Rochester, NY to Utica, NY for the Utica Boilermaker 15K Road Race. The Greater Rochester Running Club, better known as GRRC, annually sponsors the trip so that our members, and other runners from the Rochester area, can easily get to Utica, enjoy one of the best 15Ks in the Nation, and return to Rochester, all in comfort and style. No worry about driving. No worry about parking. Just focus on running the race and relaxing at the post-race party! And don't sweat the race bib; your bib will be waiting for you at the 15K start line when the bus arrives.
