Join us for the 33rd Annual Jungle Jog 5k run and walk

to support Seneca Park Zoo Society education and conservation programs

Sunday, July 17, 2022 Seneca Park, 2222 St. Paul Street Rochester NY  -   8 a.m.

RACE UPDATE:  July 15th!  We have so much LOVE for our community. We are absolutely stunned and grateful to everyone for their support for the Seneca Park Zoo Society and the Jungle Jog 5k.  Our registration numbers have far surpassed what we had anticipated.  For those of you who registered for Jungle Jog on or after July 12th, we just want to let you know that we have run out of shirts. We will be placing a second order for race shirts and will have more information about delivery for you post-race.  YOU STILL need to pick up your race packet, though, as you will need your bib for the race on Sunday.  We're so sorry for any inconvenience!

We’re back and in-person!!  Join us this year for the first of a three-year, three-race series to celebrate the upcoming transformation of the Zoo and the opening of the new Welcome Center, Education Resource Building and Tropics Complex in 2024.  For the first time ever, we’ll be offering race medals to commemorate this exciting time.  Participate and collect all three! The medals will interlock to create one impressive medal.

How about creating a team and raise additional funds for the Seneca Park Zoo Society?  It’s easy, AND individuals who raise $100 in donations receive a Jungle Jog string backpack.  Individuals who raise $250 in donations and will receive a long sleeve race shirt!  All funds raised will support our education and conservation efforts here at the Zoo, in our community, and around the world.  Backpacks and long-sleeve shirts will be mailed to those who meet the fundraising milestones on or before August 15, 2022.

Also, this year we want to demonstrate our commitment to our mission of conserving wildlife and wild places

by making this a ‘cupless’ race.  We are asking all participants to bring a full bottle of water with them to use during the race.  We will provide one refill station along the 3-mile route and at the finish line.  Participants will enjoy refreshments in the Wegmans Lodge post-race.  To learn more about our conservation efforts, click here.

Don’t forget about the Kids Fun-Run for kids 10yrs and younger!  No cost to participate, and each runner will receive a Fun-Run medal.  The FunRun will take place after the 5k.

Create a team!

Recruit your friends and family to run with you and raise funds to support our many education and conservation programs here at the Zoo, in our community and around the world!
