It's time for the premier virtual adventure of the summer!
"Summer Around the Finger Lakes" presented by Fleet Feet is the perfect opportunity to embark on a beautiful journey around each of the 11 Finger Lakes of Upstate New York. You choose between the virtual 5 lake journey (Canandaigua, Keuka, Seneca, Skaneateles, and Cayuga) or the full 11 lake virtual journey (5 lake journey plus Conesus, Hemlock, Canadice, Honeoye, Owasco, and Otisco). Starting on June 1, 2021, you have 120 days to walk, run, cycle, or paddle the distance of each lake. You will receive your finishers medal via mail, and for each lake you virtually circumnavigate, you will receive a unique charm for that lake to attach to your medal! Your goal is to collect them all!

The 5 Lake Virtual Tour is 292.5 total miles (~2.4 miles per day for 120 days!)
The 11 Lake Virtual Tour is 408.2 total miles (~3.4 miles per day for 120 days!)
Please be sure to register using the address where you receive mail from the US Post Office. We will be mailing your commemorative and congratulatory amenities to you in mid/end-July all at once, so you can add your charms accordingly and don your gear. This is assuming no shipping issues. We will indeed keep you informed.

WHY the Finger Lakes?
The Finger Lakes are a must-see destination! The Finger Lakes are a group of 11 long, narrow, lakes roughly running North to South in an area informally called the Finger Lakes region in New York, From hiking and biking to boating and fishing, there's something for everyone to enjoy. There are also a number of state parks with scenic beauty to behold. From the breathtaking views to the unimaginable amount of family fun, this is the perfect virtual event. The Finger Lakes area is also New York's largest wine-producing region. Over 100 wineries and vineyards are around Seneca, Cayuga, Canandaigua, Keuka, Conesus, and Hemlock Lakes. Because of the lakes' great depth, they provide a lake effect to the lush vineyards that flank their shores.

Log Your Miles
When the challenge starts, you will begin logging your miles directly in to RunSignUp. If you have any questions, please contact events@yellowjacketracing.com
- Log into your RunSignUp account. You must be logged in to log your miles.
- Go to "Results" on the main page and then "Submit Virtual Results". Enter the requested information, and click "Lookup Registration"
- This will bring you to your information. Now you can click on "Submit Virtual Results"
- Verify that you are who you say you are via email or phone number
- You MUST enter the Date and Distance for your run/walk/bike/paddle. The comment box is optional and is for your reference only, we will not be reviewing info submitted in this field.
- If you had multiple workouts in one day, you can add each additional workout by clicking "Add Another Activity". You can update your time and miles daily, every few days, or once a week, whichever is convenient for you.
- Do not forget to click "Submit" when you're all done!
Additionally, you can download the PDF linked here, to track your miles. But please be sure to submit your results on RunSignUp as this is how we are officially tracking your challenge progress!
