Come join us for an enjoyable event of running, walking, strolling, or rolling as we gather funds in support of St. Bernard's School! Whether you prefer to team up with friends or aim to surpass your personal records, this event caters to all levels of participation, from laid-back to competitive, from earnest to lighthearted. Our goal is to engage everyone in this healthy endeavor, contributing to our school's mission of delivering quality education at an affordable cost. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Dewey Mountain Recreation Center, participants can immerse themselves in a refreshing woodland environment, followed by post-race festivities and delicious food and drink. We look forward to seeing you there!
Black Fly 5K Run, Walk, Roll, Stroll
- Registration begins at 10:00 at Dewey Mountain.
- Race begins at 11:00 am with our more competitive racers leading the way.
- Prizes will be awarded by age category. Prizes will also be awarded to most enthusiastic, largest family in attendance, and other fun categories.
All participants will receive a custom design t-shirt! (While supplies last)
During registration, you will see the option for a Family Rate for a $10 discount for families of 4+ participants!
No matter whether you finish in 20 min or 2 hours, join us back at the Lodge for some fun after!
Black Fly 5K Swag
All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt designed by Stacked Graphics (While supplies last - only those registered by May 22nd will be guaranteed) Participants will also receive a tin of All Natural, DEET Free Insect Repellent: Bye Bye Blackfly and a Free Cone Certificate from Teddy's Ice Cream in Bloomingdale!

Black Fly Fun
After you get your sweat on, reward yourself with a cold brew from Hex and Hops and some delicious food from the Ed Council Grille. We'll have some lawn games and a Lego table for the kids, and this year we'll also have some live music!

Dewey Mountain Recreation Center
We're thrilled to be partnering with Dewey Mountain to provide a safe and fun course. Dewey Mountain's 13 KM of trail will allow us to provide a loop so participants will get to be cheered on multiple times throughout the race.
Referral Incentives
Any St. Bernard's student who refers 3 or more others to register for the event will be able to choose from the SBS Prize selection. Use the Facebook and Twitter share links on your registration confirmation page or send friends/family your referral code and you will automatically get credit! The registration confirmation email you receive will also contain a unique link that you can share to gain referral credits.
We are also offering a $10 refund for ANY participant (student or not) who refers 5 people. This is tracked using the referral code and the refund is automatic through the website.
